Singin' in the Dead of Night

the world seems to be on it's correct axis. usc waterpolo beat irvine in its season-opener, the weather is nice, and texas lost to ohio state. texas losing anything is a good thing. there's not too much to report. i got a nice wife-beater tanline on my left shoulder/chest after sitting in the sun for the waterpolo game, so that's looking pretty white-trasheriffic. i'm also coming pretty close to conquering blackbird by the beatles, but don't ask me to play it for you, because i'll just screw it up in the face of such pressure to perfom. not a good sign, huh?
