this morning, from 7:12 to 7:43, the fire alarm sounded approximately 38 times. the peals differed in length and timing, so even if they weren't the most hellish, piercing shriek, they would have been fairly impossible to sleep through. this place is cursed. cursed by bad management.
i saw the u.s. vs. john lennon yesterday evening. very enjoyable yet very depressing. because nothing has changed. we still have a criminal president, ordering illegal wiretapping, keeping us in an absurd and attritional war, and calling anyone who is critical of his policies "unpatriotic."
since when is wanting freedom and peace unpatriotic?
